Our nomination for Most Dedicated Fanciers were those who showed up this weekend in St Cloud MN for the Granite City Kennel Club Of St. Cloud, Minnesota’s two shows. Ignoring blizzard conditions the GCKCSCM treated spectators to great AKC purebred dogs.
On Saturday Thomas A Kilcullen gathered the ASCOB Cocker Spaniel, CH Broken Ridge's Wild At Heart, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu American Express, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Cammcastle’s Friar Tuck, the Skye Terrier, CH Highlanders Stuart Royalist, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CCH Mondrian VH Lamslag RE, the Dalmatian, CH TCJ N Satins Star Appeal, the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv's Gambolon Blue Thunder. BIS was the Rott, Tux. Tux has become a serious BIS collector lately, picking up nine of his 17 BIS this season since labor day, good enough to make him the Number Two Working Dog.
On Sunday BIS judge John Cole would see six of the same seven with the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH MaxWell’s Violet, joining the fun. He would choose the Dalmatian, Apple, as his Best. It’s the first all breed BIS this year for the 2010 winner of the Dalmation Club of American national specialty. Congratulations to breeders Melissa (Katy) Schultz & Todd Jardine, owners Kim & Daney Jenning, & Todd Jardine, and handler Dave Slattum.
