Our special thanks to the exhibitor who sent us an e-mail with the results from this weekend’s North Conway NH shows. We had reported that Carroll County Kennel Club Of New Hampshire BIS on Saturday was the Akita, GCH CH Nakodo's Reign Of Glory. Also joining Paula Hartinger on Saturday was the English Setter. GCH CH Hemlock Lane Flying Colours, the 15" Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Midnight Confession, Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Maverston Double Dutch, the Japanese Chin, CH Yama Fortune Cookie, the Schipperke, CH Riptides I'm Nothing but Trouble, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Windfall Slam Dunk.
Sunday, Roger Hartinger saw six of Saturday’s finalists with his only new face being the Dalmatian, CH Blackthorn Coreopis Of Patch Mt TDX RN NA NAJ. We delighted to report that his BIS was the first Cairn Terrier, to win a BIS this year. Bat was the Breed winner at this year’s Westminster Kennel Club show. We have had Bat on our radar since seeing him at the 2009 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship. Now the Nation’s Number One Cairn Terrier has a BIS to go with his nine Terrier Group top prizes. Congratulations to breeder/owner Mary Lucier, owner Tamara Erickson, and handler Geoff Dawson.
